My name is Zac Knoblauch and I founded Rigid Deck Company, LLC. I enjoy looking at decks, building decks, talking about decks, and thinking about decks. I hold the designation of Certified Master Inspector among dozens of other certifications.

I have been in the business for over 9 years and made an impact in the world of construction on YouTube (where he has amassed over 49,000 followers) by making videos pointing out issues on poorly constructed decks. I have also taught multiple deck inspection classes to home inspectors and was Deck Inspector Certified through InterNACHI and NADRA (North American Deck and Rail Association).

Some people builds decks because it’s their job. I build because it is my passion. I love deck construction, I love every part of the process — from meeting with clients and figuring out their needs, to drawing plans and ordering materials, to constructing the deck and seeing the finished result. I genuinely love it! To me building decks is an art and I treat every deck project as a piece of art that has to be perfection before I release it to the client.

About me personally

I am married to my wife Lauren. Together we have two sons, Wyatt and Walker, and two dogs, Wilbur (Black Lab) and Mable (German Short Haired Pointer). I enjoy being outside, shooting guns in competition in USPSA and Steel Challenge, as well as playing video games on occasion.
